As a parent, I’ve always turned to books to help guide and inspire my son. But time and again, I found myself searching for a certain type of story—one that spoke to our experiences and values—and came up empty-handed. So, in 2021, I decided to start writing my own.

I believe in creating stories that not only entertain but also provide children with meaningful lessons and emotional support. My journey as an author began with seeing a need and filling it, crafting books that resonate with families and spark connection.

While I have some fun and free resources for the curious creatives (check the links at the top of the page for a FREE downloadable Busy Book!), I am really here to share my physical books that contain valuable lessons and mantras for you and the children in your life ❤

Currently, I have three books available to purchase:
- I Am: A heartfelt affirmation book to empower children with positivity and self-belief (2nd Edition).
- Poopoolin: A humorous and heartwarming tale about a dog with “a big everything”—his heart, his dreams, and his unique journey (be on the lookout for 2 more Poopoolin books!!) (2nd Edition).
- My Guiding Light: An insightful and empowering book that equips children with the tools to navigate tricky adults and complex situations. This story encourages kids to trust their instincts, set boundaries, recognize manipulation, ask questions, and seek out a safe, supportive person when they need guidance and reassurance.
Supporting Children in Divorce, Co-Parenting, and Parallel Parenting Journeys
As a single parent navigating the treacherous waters of co-parenting, I wanted books that would equip my son with tools to understand his emotions, adapt to change, and feel supported. When I couldn’t find any that addressed these needs in such a specific way, I decided to write them myself.
My books are deeply personal, crafted to empower children with the resources they need:
- Love Comes With Me: A heartfelt story designed to help children embrace life in two homes, focusing on the love and connection that remain constant despite changes (coming soon).
- When I Need Help: A comforting and empowering story that gives children tools to manage fear and seek support. Through Cubby’s journey, young readers learn to find safe spaces, trust their instincts, and ask for help in tricky situations, fostering bravery and resilience (coming soon).
I’m incredibly excited to share these stories, offering support and reassurance to families navigating life’s unique challenges. While the Family Court system is often flawed—and sometimes beyond our control—we can continue to lead with honesty, act with integrity, and equip our children with the tools they need to navigate difficult situations, without speaking negatively about the other parent.
Honesty and integrity always win in the end. We must never stoop to the level of those who act without them. As it says in Romans 12:21: “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
