Medicine | PHARMACEUTICAL SALES

I have always been drawn to the medical field. Even as early as 5th grade, while the neighborhood kids were out playing, I was in the kitchen running hip replacement simulations on the family dial-up computer, captivated by the science of healing and the intricacies of medical procedures. This early passion eventually led me to UCLA, where she earned a spot in one of the top Pre-Medicine programs in the country.

During my second year, I recognized that my talents extended beyond traditional medicine and decided to pivot to a more sales-oriented major, blending my interest in healthcare with the dynamic challenges of business. Pursuing this path, I later completed my MBA with an emphasis in Marketing, understanding that strong marketing skills are critical to successful sales. I believe that marketing builds the bridge between customer needs and the solutions a company provides, enabling sales teams to connect with customers on a meaningful level.

Rating: 10 out of 10.

My experience also includes a comprehensive Surgical Technology program at Contra Costa Medical Career College, where I graduated in the top of my class and thrived during my externship. Working alongside doctors, sales representatives, and medical professionals, I embraced the collaborative spirit of the medical environment. I deeply respected the contributions of every team member, from surgeons to sales reps, recognizing how each played a vital role in patient care. Known for my exceptional ability to retain complex medical knowledge, I value the importance of teamwork and am inspired by those dedicated to healthcare.

Today, I proudly represent Alora Pharmaceuticals as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative covering the San Francisco Bay Area, from Walnut Creek down to Templeton. I was awarded MVP during Home Office Training Week, recognized by leadership for my performance, professionalism, and product knowledge. I also serve as the West Coast District Clinical Champion, where I focus on delivering clear, practical education around hypothyroidism and desiccated thyroid extract therapies.

I manage and promote four products across Endocrinology, Women’s Health, and Pediatrics, and I’m known for breaking down complex clinical data into conversations that actually resonate with providers. Since starting in this role, I’ve outpaced the market in market share growth every quarter and consistently exceeded my goals, which reflects the level of ownership I take over my territory.

In my first quarter in the field, I ranked eighth nationally for market share growth and have continued to rank in the Top 10 nationally for integrated communication resource utilization, helping drive strong visibility and consistency across my accounts.

At our National Sales Meeting, although I didn’t qualify for formal awards due to my late-year start, I was recognized as MVP during the clinical breakout sessions, which meant a lot to me given how much I prioritize truly understanding and confidently speaking to the medicine.

Even early on, I’ve been asked by leadership to support ride-alongs and help train newer representatives, which speaks to the way I approach organization, strategy, and sharing best practices. I’m also an active member of the Women in Leadership group, where I enjoy contributing to growth and mentorship within the team.

At the end of the day, my approach is simple; I focus on building real relationships, earning trust with providers, and showing up consistently with value.
